Tomorrow will be nothing like today.
It may look and feel a lot like today – you’ll get up, have breakfast, check email, exercise, go to work, etc. But tomorrow will be nothing like today.
We’re not just talking about the impacts of the pandemic. Billions of people will be connected by mobile devices with unprecedented processing power, storage capacity, and access to knowledge. Business will be enhanced or extinguished by leaps in artificial intelligence, robotics, the Internet of Things, autonomous vehicles, 3-D printing, nanotechnology, biotechnology, materials science, energy storage, quantum computing, and more.
All of this presents us with opportunities and threats.
Imagine how the things that will make tomorrow different could impact what you and your clients should do today.
Smart people often miss future opportunities and threats because of present-day biases that make it difficult to see outside of, or accept, their current frame of reference.
In this session, you'll learn a proven process – and get access to a great tool – to help you clearly see the potential opportunities and threats ahead. “Future-back”-techniques, such as Future Storming, can help you gain clarity about possible future states by seeing past the noise and distractions of the present to spot opportunities and threats.
A provocative future-state scenario doesn’t need to come true to be relevant and exciting for present-day thinking.
